I am an Aesthetic Nurse injector with over 16 years experience in the nursing profession. I graduated from Maryville University in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I then began my career as a labor and delivery nurse and transitioned into the emergency department. Today my love for art and medicine have lead me to my true passion Aesthetic Nursing. I founded Glo with Jamie on the core belief that true beauty lies within. When you leave you’ll look just like you feel inside beautiful, glo-ing, and perfect just they way you are. Val earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree through Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. Her first years working as a nurse were at Mercy Hospital St. Louis on the Medical-Surgical floors. The next few years were spent as a nurse for a drug and alcohol treatment facility helping those with substance use disorders and mental health illnesses. She has always had a passion for helping others. She pursued this passion and became certified as an aesthetic nurse injector. This allows her to help her patients feel good about themselves on the inside as well as on the outside.

Val stays up to date by frequently attending new trainings and continuing her education to ensure patient safety. Her goal is to help her patients feel more confident in their own skin. She listens closely during the consultation to deliver results based on her patient’s individual preference while maintaining a natural aesthetic. When Val is not at work, she loves spending all of her time with her husband and her sweet little boys!

Education and safety is a top priority and through her experience as an advanced practice nurse she will work to create a plan that not only satisfies the client but the standards of the aesthetic field.
